Digital Communications Training for the Self Producing Artist - Thursday 9 December

In recognition of the fact that digital media is becoming a more important part of the communications mix in promoting arts projects, we have invited Rachel Arthur, Founder and Editor of boom saloon and Katie Goh, Digital Marketing specialist for arts festivals and freelance culture journalist (VICE, the Guardian, gal-dem), to lead a seminar for Self-Producing Artists and Independent Producers on how best to use your digital channels to promote your project.

In this interactive online session they will explore:

  • Who you are already speaking to and how to expand your digital communications reach to new audiences.

  • How you are speaking to your audience and how best to use digital tools to communicate arts projects.

  • Creating different content for various digital channels and effectively planning digital marketing strategies for long and short-term projects.

  • Analysing how your digital communications are working for your promotions.

To get the most out of the session it could be helpful for you to have considered who you think is the audience for your work and which new audiences you would like to reach.

You can book your place here, where there is also an opportunity to submit specific questions you would like Rachel and Katie to address.
