EPAD Supported Residencies 2026

Following our open call earlier in the year, we are delighted to be facilitating eight local artists to work with eight Edinburgh venues to research and develop new projects. By the end of November, we will have supported the following partnerships:

• Director and Dramatur Liam Rees and Assembly Roxy

• Composer, Writer, Performer Will Pickvance and Craigmillar Now

• Dance Artists Errol White and Davina Givan and Fruitmarket Gallery

• Theatre-maker and Writer Alexandra Jorg and Lyra

• Artist, Writer, Facilitator Heather Marshall and North Edinburgh Arts

• Actor, Writer, Creator Victoria Giambalvo and Scottish Storytelling Centre

• Director, Actor, Writer Shamama Fatima and Traverse Theatre

• Dance artist and Performance Maker Monica De Ioanni and WHALE Arts

Our aim with this project is to make it easier for Edinburgh-based artists to make work in their home-city and to establish meaningful relationships with local venues.

We are working with the host venues and artists to gather reflections from the experience of being in residence and will be sharing these in the New Year.

This project is made possible through the award of a Creative Scotland Open Fund.
